Outlet Manager

Kendrio Krishok Maitree (KKM)- a farmer’s organization of Bangladesh- is looking for a professional and customer service-oriented Outlet Manager to oversee daily operations at it’s outlet in Gulshan 1, Dhaka called Aaurhi, supported by ActionAid Bangladesh and Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under POWER Project. As an Outlet Manager, she/he will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store. Her/his duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, and developing business strategies and improve sales.

 

Key responsibilities include (not limited to) 

  • Oversee the daily operations of outlet for efficient operations;
  • Plan and implementation of cost-effective sourcing of quality products and keep close contact with the producers;
  • Keen supervising on inventory and sales and order new items;
  • Obtain customer feedbacks and recommend necessary outlet operational changes;
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers;
  • Organize regular meetings between consumers and producers;
  • Analyze and resolve problems in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Organize special events, and measures to attract customers;
  • Coordination with KKM and ActionAid Bangladesh regarding smooth operation of outlet;
  • Operating café and it’s staff;
  • Preparing periodic sales, finance, revenue and other necessary reports;
  • Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff;
  • Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability;
  • Hire, train, and oversee new staff;
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner for achieving high level customer satisfaction;
  • Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations;
  • Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays;
  • Undertake store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records;

 

Required Experience and Educational Qualification

  • Commerce background including at least Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Marketing, Management or relevant field is preferred;
  • A minimum of 01-year experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role;
  • Strong leadership and customer management skill;
  • Sound skill on staff management;
  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes;
  • Good communication in Bangla and English and interpersonal skills.
