Introduction
The project titled "Women-led solutions to food insecurity and livelihood in face of climate change " will facilitate building transformation capacity at the community-level led by women, in particular young women, to address food insecurity associated with climate change impacts.
The project, therefore, will explore and scale-up solutions both at local level (programme) and national level (policy) that can facilitate improved food security and livelihood options at the project areas in northern and southern regions of Bangladesh.
The project is aiming to-
- Introduce new and scale-up successful practices and approaches of Climate Resilience Sustainable Agriculture (CRSA).
- Facilitate capacity enhancement of young women (age 18 to 35) in project areas on CRSA and market system.
- Ensure access through facilitating the establishment of ‘women’s corner’ in the local markets.
