The main purpose of this meeting was to inspire the members to write whatever they want to share. One of the participants, Maria said, “At first, I would like to thank you for coming here & give us the opportunity to share our learning with you. As our school is closed now, we don’t have that opportunity to meet with friends on a regular basis. And so today I am feeling great to have a wonderful time with my friends. I just want to say you that I loved to write. But sometimes it happened that, I did not understand what to write. But now, I don’t think much. When I feel bad, I write, when I feel good, I write. It’s amazing to arrange my own thoughts with words. And now I try to be very conscious about the problems of our community as I have to solve those through my writings. I try to talk with other children whether they are facing any problems or not. I also tell them to write. I want to do something for the children by writing about their rights, problems. Thanks to ActionAid to inspire me in this regard. It really means a lot to me.”
