Call for Artwork for #ConnectingWithWater Campaign

“In observance of the World Water Day 2022, ActionAid Bangladesh is organizing a friendly children’s art contest and opened a call for artwork for their “#connectwithwater campaign”.  Through this art contest, ActionAid wants to raise awareness among children on sustainable consumption and efficient use of water. Children from the age group of 10-17 are encouraged to submit their artwork with a story using the following link:

Who can participate? 

Students from grade 5 to grade 9 are encouraged to participate.

Work will be judged under the following categories:

*Grade 5 to 6

*Grade 7 to 9

Criteria for the artwork:

• Each participant may submit only 1 art piece.
• All artworks must be originally created by the contestant.
• The artwork must be 2D painting using any paint media
• The artwork should come with a story defining the concept of the artwork
• Digitally created artwork, including photographs, are not accepted.
• There are no paper size requirements for the artwork.
• Group submissions are not accepted.

Recognition:

All students submitting their artworks will be recognised with certificates.

Top 3 paintings (from two category) from will be recognised at the World Water Day webinar.

The artworks will be featured on ActionAid Bangladesh website and will be used in AAB's digital campaign.

The painting will be featured in AAB’s virtual living water museum.

The deadline for submission of artwork is 14 March 2022.
