6th International Water Conference 2021
Theme: Water, Climate and Justice in the Wake of COVID-19 Pandemic
27-29 January 2020
ActionAid Bangladesh is going to organise the 6th International Water Conference under the theme of ‘Water, Climate and Justice in the Wake of COVID-19 Pandemic’’ from 27 to 29 January 2021. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, we are going to organise the conference through virtual platform this year.
There will be 4 thematic sessions in this conference-
Thematic Session 1:Water Commons: Lessons from COVID19;
Thematic Session 2:Water, Gender and COVID19 nexus;
Thematic Session 3:Rights of Rivers;
Thematic Session 4:Water and Climate: Grassroots Innovation and Solutions
Issue-based research papers will be presented in this conference. Specialists from across the world and people from all spheres of life will join this conference.
This Conference aims to go beyond territorial and disciplinary boundaries, looking into aspects of water as the key element providing solutions toward a just and green recovery to the climate and COVID19 crisis that the world is facing currently.
ActionAid Bangladesh has been working on pro-people water justice and people’s indigenous rights to the rivers. As a continuation of our advocacy, we are hosting the 6th International Water Conference.
