Nexus Fest 2025, launched by ActionAid Bangladesh, is a first-of-its-kind, multi-district festival designed to bring together communities, youth, civil society and government stakeholders to co-create inclusive and resilient solutions. Held from 26–31 August 2025 across climate-vulnerable regions including Bagerhat, Satkhira, Barguna, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar and Chattogram, the festival responds to Bangladesh’s overlapping challenges of climate change, humanitarian crises, development gaps and social tensions.

Grounded in a nexus approach that integrates climate action, humanitarian response, development and peacebuilding, the festival creates a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration and grassroots-led innovation. Through interactive exhibitions, youth-led advocacy, cultural performances and inclusive community engagement activities, Nexus Fest amplifies local voices and fosters collective action.

Anchored in ActionAid Bangladesh’s Action for Transformation (A4T) project under the Youth and Just Society Programme, the initiative aims to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, challenge harmful social norms and position youth and communities as key drivers of climate resilience, social justice and sustainable development.
